DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Working as a business and software product analyst with a focus on developing software for the healthcare industry; (2) Gathering requirements and translating functional requirements into detailed design requirements with a focus on the ‘user interface’, ‘user experience’, and ‘human factors’; (3) Helping define products, product features, and product functionality; (4) Working closely with customers and users of the software product to further enhance use and capability of the software product; (5) Performing software rollout activities to include onsite support, customer staff training, and product orientation; (6) Troubleshooting through resolution of software product issues and workflow challenges; (7) Managing software alpha and beta product programs; (8) Supporting integration with third party organizations and third party hardware and software products; (9) Assisting in the management of the software development and product delivery process; (10) Assisting in the maturity and evolution of the software product definition process; (11) Ensuring that software product definition processes are in place and being adhered to; (12) Dynamically presenting and demoing a family of software products to current and prospective customer groups.
REQUIRED:
A verifiable undergraduate degree is required.
4 years of current/strong clinical healthcare (patient and physician facing role) industry experience.
MUST have STRONG FINANCE/ACCOUNTING functional experience.
MUST have STRONG experience gathering requirements in the development of a software product or implementation of a sophisticated FINANCE/ACCOUNTING system in a healthcare environment.
MUST have STRONG experience with focusing on the ‘user interface’ or ‘human factors’ or ‘user experience’.
MUST have EXCELLENT communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
MUST have superior ability to listen, and negotiate conflict/obstacle management.
Pluses: Agile methodology.
