DUTIES:  You will be responsible for:  (1) Providing SAP FI/CO subject matter expertise for this global leader; (2) Providing functional leadership to the accounting and IT department from an SAP FI/CO  perspective; (3) Managing critical client relationships and developing and strengthening relationships with the client population; (4) Tracking and monitoring existing and ongoing issues and identifying gaps as well as ways to be pro-active in preventing reoccurrences; (5) Developing system design and specifications; (6) Acting as a liaison to  the user community, leading efforts to define business requirements, and defining scope of new requirements to provide system solutions; (7) Preparing documentation of business and system issues and proposed resolution.

REQUIRED:

7+ years of IT work experience with 3+ years of STRONG and CURRENT SAP FI and CO functional and configuration experience.  MUST BE STRONG IN BOTH FI OR CO.  Candidates should come from a manufacturing environment.

STRONG/CURRENT scope experience to be that of a BUSINESS ANALYST where is gathering requirements directly from the end user community and leading requirements gathering phases through end of the BA and project lifecycle.

MUST have STRONG and CURRENT FUNCTIONAL knowledge in A/P, A/R, G/L, Cost Accounting, F/A, GAAP.

MUST have STRONG and CURRENT CONFIGURATION experience in SAP A/P, A/R, G/L, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, and COPA.

MUST have STRONG experience implementing SAP Financial modules (strongly prefer 2 or more implementations).

Experience and knowledge to identify, champion and manage “best practice” improvements to financial processes.

Pluses:  Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
