DUTIES:  You will be responsible for: (1) Performing software product business analyst functionality in the development of applications/software for mobile technology devices such as the BlackBerry, Windows mobile computing platforms, and the iPhone; (2) Analysis, application and software design, group leadership of development staff; (3) Design and development of functional specifications based on client needs; (4) Translating functional specifications into technical requirements and designs; (5) Providing work estimates for software development activity; (6) Reviewing test plans with development and QA personnel as well as participating in design reviews; (7) Performing functional testing to ensure code meets design and client requirements; (8) Working closely with offshore development resources; (9) Analyzing technical issues that arise collaboratively with technical support personnel; (10) Designing and developing technical documentation; (11) Providing leadership as needed.

REQUIRED:

MUST have at least 6 years of hands on professional technical experience in packaged (i.e. software house or product development) software development (corporate IT programming experience is not relevant).

MUST have at least 5 years of developing software applications or software products for mobile technology platforms (i.e. Windows Mobile and/or Blackberry and/or iPhone).

MUST have at least 5 years of STRONG/CURRENT Microsoft Windows programming with EXPERT level .NET/MS SQL Server OR Java technologies.

MUST have STRONG/CURRENT n-tier and object oriented software design, as well as expert level debugging and problem solving skills.

MUST have expert level documentation skills.

MUST have stunning communication skills (verbal and written) and superb command of the American English language.

MUST be superb at handling difficult situations, conflict, and urgency that is often found in traditional product development environments.

MUST be an expert LISTENER, and be able to establish long term, meaningful relationships.

MUST be able to self manage, be tenacious, and be solutions driven.
